

Canada 365 News — Canada One Family Network, in partnership with the Toronto Xuanshengtang Natural Wellness Centre, is presenting an eight-week Summer Wellness Series in Markham. Week 4 takes place this Sunday, August 16, with a session on healthy aging and cardiovascular wellness.

Professor Xinhua Wang, PhD, MD
Professor at the University of Toronto and Associate Director of the university’s Blood and Cancer Research Centre. Professor Wang has conducted basic and clinical research in blood disorders and pediatric diseases.
Professor Jun Zhou, PhD
Tsinghua University PhD in Science, research scientist, professor and Chairman of the Toronto Xuanshengtang Natural Wellness Centre. Professor Zhou’s research has included smoking and health, tobacco harm reduction and analytical chemistry.

The $10 registration fee includes customized herbal tea and light refreshments. According to the organizers, participants who register for membership on site may receive member pricing on herbal steam therapy (starting at $48), a complimentary Traditional Chinese Medicine consultation valued at $60, a biomedical health assessment valued at $169, and 10 per cent off wellness services and products. Two participants will also be selected in a draw to receive a complimentary herbal steam therapy session.
